ACHIEVEMENTS AND RECOGNITIONS

2018 - Onwards

• Display of the vibrant Katran Classic High Back Chair in the Project Pure Gold, Up cycled and Upgraded, Germany for the year 2017 via IFA, Institute of Culture and International Relations. A 10 year travelling exhibition will display the most sustainable products designed in the world in the last decade.

2017

• Katran Rocking Chair will be a part of an upcoming Gallery "Value of Design" in 2017. In collaboration with the China Merchants Group (CMG) the V&A is opening a Gallery devoted to 20th and 21st-century international design in a new museum located in the Skekou district of Shenzhen.

2016

• EDIDA 2016 ( Elle Decor International Design Award, India), Winners for the Best Furniture Design Category for Kutch Collection designed for Arttdinox. VIEW COLLECTION
• Display of Pelican Katran Chair in Design: The India Story exhibition in Mumbai, 2016 which promotes a contemporary design approach by Objects Through Time, by Divya Thakur, Studio Design Temple.
• Nominated for the Best Furniture Design Studio  for Pool Magazine, 2016.
• Nominated for Best Lighting design Category by Good Homes, 2016.
• Nominated for the Best Product Design by India Story, Kolkata, 2016.

2015

• The Kalpataru design Installation celebrates its glorious applaud from the crowd at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. A unique Diwali & Christmas tree was on display from 10th November 2015 till 6th January 2016. Forbes and Bloomberg mentioned Kalpataru Tree as one of the top 10 Christmas Trees of 2015. READ MORE

2014

• Selected for an outstanding designer of The Asia Talents, 2014 by Wallpaper Magazine.

2013

• Love Chair, the soul product of the famous katran collection awarded India Design Forum Awards for the product category, 2013.
• Lakshman Sagar Resort, was nominated by Design Boom in collaboration with IDF Awards as one of the best Interior Design Project.

2012

• The Stork Chair, selected by Poltrona Frau Design Director, Mr. Giulio Cappellini and launched at the Cappellini Next exhibition during Milan Design week 2012.

2011

• Awarded the EDIDA ( Elle Decor International Design Award, India) 2011, for our “Katran Collection” and was showcased at the Ambiente Fair Frankfurt 2012.
• Selected by Elle Decor India as the “Young Talent” to represent India and showcase our work at the “Young Talent Show” during Milan Design Week 2011.
• Finalist for the YCE (Young Creative Entrepreneur Award) 2010 by British Council India and invited to showcase our work at the Alchemy Festival London in 2011.
